If i shave my seat on my 85cc dirt bike will it mess up the Comfort and the dirt bike in General?

Will it totally make the seat uncomfortable and mess the dirt bike up. I don't want to like mess the seat up cause that would mess up the jump Comfort,leg stance,and even foot peg height plz answers quick plz!
